Tanya has joined the Dahdaleh Institute as a research assistant, supporting the project led by Dahdaleh Institute Research Fellow Syed Imran Ali on chemical water quality and severe acute malnutrition. Tanya received a bachelor’s degree in global health from York University and a master’s degree in global health from McMaster University. She has a diverse research background in evaluations, humanitarian challenges, and public health policy through an intersectional and health equity lens. She is currently pursuing a doctor of medicine (MD) degree at Queen’s University.
