Gurher is pursuing her B.Sc. in Global Health at York University. Under the supervision of Prof. Amrita Daftary, she is working to creatively enhance the online presence of the Social Science & Health Innovation for Tuberculosis (SSHIFTB) Centre. She is also assisting in a systematic review on TB and mental health interventions in South Asia. Prior to this role, Gurher was previously a research dissemination and publication assistant at the Dahdaleh Institute.
Outside of the university, Gurher works as a pharmacy assistant and volunteers at a local hospice. She hopes that her passion for community initiatives—especially as they relate to health—is effectively translated into action through her work.
