Members of the Dahdaleh community were invited to attend a special Empire Club of Canada talk given by Achim Steiner, administrator of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), on December 13. While addressing the disappointment many felt about COP27 and the lack of meaningful progress in global climate resolutions, Steiner explained that we are facing more global crises these days and resolving any one of them is a unique challenge humanity has not previously faced.
