Urmi is a research assistant for Global Food Systems and Policy, under the supervision of Dr. Tarra Penney. She is primarily working on a systematic scoping review about the role of artificial intelligence in non-communicable disease prevention policy. Urmi is a recent graduate of York's global health program and will be pursuing medicine at McMaster University in the fall.
