Catherine is a research assistant for Global Food Systems and Policy, under the supervision of Dr. Tarra Penney. She is a currently completing her MSc in Global Health at McMaster University and is a recent graduate of the Arts and Science program at McMaster. She will be working with the team on a range of research activities related to improving food systems for pandemic prevention and anti-microbial resistance, the role of colonial histories in shaping the food system, and the use of systems approaches for disease prevention.
