Research Team
Servet is a professor at Gazi University (Turkey). He is on sabbatical leave at York University at the invitation of Professor Harvey Skinner and with Professor Boran’s agreement to collaborate. His focus areas are globalization and risks. He conducts research on disasters, local and global risks. He has contributed to studies and practices to include topics such as sustainability, systemic/vital risks, risk management for the future of our planet in curricula. He has carried out geography curriculum development studies in Turkey and Azerbaijan. He also contributes to educations in his country in the field of local and global migrations and mobility in terms of the region he lives in.
