Noah Cooke is a part-time research assistant in Professor Tarra Penney's group within the Global Strategy Lab. Noah's background combines public health and biomedical research. After he received his Bachelor of health sciences and Master of sciences degrees from the University of Calgary, he studied the roles of the gut microbiota in colorectal cancer and major depressive disorder. Noah completed a Master of philosophy in population health sciences at the University of Cambridge, UK. At the Dahdaleh Institute, Noah is contributing to the International Food Policy Study.
