“The Geo-Doc” Tops List of Documentary Books to Read in 2020

The Geo-Doc: Geomedia, Documentary Film, and Social Change has been ranked #2 among the Best Documentary Film eBooks to Read in 2020 by BookAuthority. BookAuthority is the world’s leading site for nonfiction book recommendations.

Written by Dahdaleh Institute Postdoctoral Fellow Mark Terry and published by leading educational publisher Palgrave Macmillan, the book introduces a new form of documentary film designed to maximize the potential of documentary as a communication tool between filmmakers and policymakers.

Dr. Terry’s documentary films include The Antarctica Challenge: A Global Warning (2009) and The Polar Explorer (2011). He also recently joined the ADERSIM Arctic Group, based on his work in the polar regions.
