Effective August 17, 2020, the current York 2014 WordPress theme will experience a series of updates in order to align with York's new brand differentiation and website optimization strategies. These updates include changes to the look and feel of the header, footer and navigation bar on the York 2014 theme as well as aligning with colour and font based on the new brand differentiation strategy. These changes will not impact existing content and layout of your website pages, only the look and feel of the elements outlined above. How to request the new York2020 theme
In order to apply the new York 2020 theme to your WordPress website, you must have Administrator privileges. If you do not have this level of access to your website, please contact devproj@yorku.ca in order to make these changes to your site.
Prerequisites
- Get training on using Gutenberg Editor
- Get familiar with the modules library
- Prepare content in accordance with the new module library
