This is located in M.E. Calendar > Settings > Shortcodes

  • Step 1: hover on the shortcode you’ve created and click on create API
  • Step 2: choose domain display preference –
    • custom domains if you want to show events on a specific domain – you need to enter your URL
    • All Domains if you want to show events on any domain the API is applied on.
  • Step 3: click the generate button
  • Step 4: Copy the Javascript

On your website

  • Step 1: add “Custom HTML” block
  • Step 2: paste the Javascript code
  • Step 3: update/Publish the page

Step 1: Create a category specific to Glendon for French events, i.e. “Glendon French” as opposed to just “French” (so others don’t use it)

Step 2: Create/submit the event twice i.e. one for the English version and the other for French but ensure to select the French category you created in step 1 while creating the French event

Step 3: When creating a shortcode, you need to create one to filter only Glendon events which will be posted on English pages and then another shortcode to filter Glendon AND French events which will be posted to your French pages. Details on filtering can be found in Section 2 above.
