Many people think Experiential education is only associated with being and learning in the classroom. However, learning is happening everywhere, as it could take place outdoors, in placements, practicums, etc. We can learn and experience so many different things and connect it back to what we learn in the classroom. Experiential education is very broad, and gives everyone the opportunity to get into a variety of different career areas. Experiential education is a hands-on experience which can help us gain a lot of transferable skills. As education students, we can showcase the different skills we gain from placements and apply them to different career areas. Overall, Experiential education is beneficial to everyone, as it allows us to go into different career areas, gain new experiences, transferable skills, and new knowledge.
