- Alongside this publication and with the support of seed Funds from York University, Pedagogies in Viral Times is a research project that created an Itinerant School during COVID-19. While most of the world went into online education, this project created a different school. In collaboration with an urban school in Andean Ecuador, we created an educational experience that took place in the backyards of families in 9 different neighborhoods. Teachers and a group of children met in these gardens to create an emergent curriculum based on its human and more than human presences and histories. The website shared here will become a companion to the project’s book that will be published by the University of Toronto Press
