The Canadian Action and Perception Network Satellite
June 16, 2025
York University, Keele Campus

Our annual CAPnet meeting will be held in advance of the Brain and Integrative Vision Conference this year, jointly hosted by York University's Centre for Vision Research (CVR) and the Centre for Integrative and Applied Neuroscience (CIAN).
The Canadian Action and Perception Network (CAPnet) is a Canada-wide neuroscience research consortium for the study of action and perception.
The mandate of CAPnet is to promote communication and major collaborative projects on action and perception, both between the core member universities and with their academic, clinical, and industrial partners.
Focusing broadly on perception and action, this event brings together leading scientists and trainees from across Canada to explore cutting-edge research on sensation, perception, and movement control.
Our annual meeting is a free trainee-focused event that provides an excellent opportunity for trainees to showcase their research through either a short talk or a poster presentation. It also offers a valuable platform for networking, allowing trainees to connect with peers, faculty, and experts in the field
Highlights include:
· Talk sessions featuring innovative research
· A poster session showcasing trainee contributions
· A keynote lecture from a distinguished neuroscientist
· Networking and collaborative opportunities
Date and Time: Monday, June 16th, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Location: York University
Registration is free, and the satellite meeting is open to everyone interested in perception, action, and related fields.
Abstracts submissions are due April 30th. All presenters must also register using the link above.
