Eunice Adu-Tutu joins Food Services as as dietetic practicum student

Eunice Adu-Tutu joins our Food Services team as dietetic practicum student on her journey to becoming a Registered Dietitian on an eight week practicum.

Eunice was born in Toronto but spent her critical years raised by her grandparents in Ghana. Her lived experiences in both countries is where she learned to have a deep appreciation for food and its power to nourish our bodies and our community. Her journey in the nutrition space, fueled by her lived experiences, motivated her to pursue a Master of Public Health (MPH) in Nutrition and Dietetics at University of Toronto. She is currently in her first year of the MPH program.

“I look forward to applying my knowledge in a practical setting while connecting with people from diverse backgrounds. I also want to learn about the challenges and opportunities in addressing food insecurity in the university community. Above all, I am pleased to embark on a new journey with York University and hope to have an enriched experience in this space.”

Hobbies: Spending time with loved ones and reflecting on our life journeys are some of my cherished moments. Also listening to music and immersing myself in different cultures are some of my favourite hobbies.
