York U Forward Action Plan

The York U Forward Action Plan is a critical University-wide strategy enabling the University to advance the University Academic Plan (UAP) and achieve financial sustainability in light of unexpected policy directions at the provincial and federal levels affecting higher education. The action plan consists of 17 projects divided into three important streams: Program Enhancement and Sustainability; Enrolment Recovery; and Administrative Projects.

Designed to shape the institution’s future success, these interconnected initiatives will spark innovation, improve operations, address future learning and knowledge needs, and position York U for success in a changing global post-secondary education landscape.

Each of the projects will have a distinct focus, timeline and set of outcomes. The University community is encouraged to check in frequently to explore the different streams and the details of each project.
