His father was also born in Cofimvaba, and his clan name is Mbathane and praised as – OoMatshaya, ooXesibe, uKhondo nyawana, iBhaca, uDleyibheka. My Mother: My mother is Nomayilo Sindo and she was also born in Cofimvaba, but in an area called Zwelitsha, which is situated in the rural area of Qamata. Her mother is from the Maqocweni clan, who are praised as ooJojo, ooZikhali, ooTiyeka, ooMabombo, ooNonzaba. Her father was also from Cofimvaba, and his clan name is Ndungwane, and they are praised as – ooDiya, ooNdungwane, ooBhejula, isiHlobo sikaNdarhana, ooGungu. I was born in Cofimvaba, in the rural area of Qamata. My clan is name is Mbathane, umXesibe, uMatshaya, iBhaca. My grandmother was from the Mambango clan, and they are praised as; ooMbuyisa, ooNdima, ooSandi, ooMathobela, abeSuthu abamnyama, ooKhoza, ooNqofela. My grandmother’s father was from the Miya clan and their surname is Maseti, which is the one I’m using today. My mother’s side: My mother is from the amaTolo clan, and they are praised as follows: Oo-Dlangamandla, ooZulu, ooMchenge, ooMfingo, ooMhlathi unukulambo, amaBhanekazi, ooNgonyama, ooMvumba lempongo liyanuka. Her mother, who is my grandmother, is from the Jola clan. They are praised as; ooMphankomo, abantwana bomthwakazi, abantwana bomfaz’ obelenye abaphesheya komlambo. Nonkosi Nonyana: My journey (where I come from): I was born in Cape Town and am a daughter to Matebuwo Nonyana and Andile Sigenu. My clan name is Tolo. My father was born in Cape Town, but his parents are from the rural area called Ngquthu in the Eastern Cape. I’m a son to Zixolisile and Nowethu Gaqavu. My father’s side: My father was born and grew up in the rural area of Guba in the Eastern Cape. His father was Menzeleleli Gaqavu and he was from Chubeni, from the Mqwathi clan.
