Earn a bilingual science degree that provides options beyond graduation. You’ll find Glendon’s biology program is a great option for exploring the major topics in biology, with an emphasis on conservation biology, ecology and animal behaviour — you’ll be ready for a career in fields as diverse as natural resource management, conservation, environmental protection, and research and development in top private and public sectors.

Courses


Throughout your degree, you’ll find courses that cover the diverse range of topics within the field. First-year introductory courses include microscopy, genetics, ecology and other labs. In your middle years, you’ll have the opportunity to take field courses offered on campus, in the local community and in Quebec. Your final year offers the possibility to conduct an honours thesis project and/or take international field courses through the Ontario University Field Program in Biology. 

For our bilingual or trilingual international Bachelor of Science degree, you’ll follow the same structure as the BSc, but complete additional language courses, internationally oriented courses and an international exchange. 

If you’re interested in biotechnology, forensic science, veterinary medicine, medical school or other science-based graduate work, you may be able complete the required science courses while studying Biology.

  • Specialized Honours BSc/iBSc
  • Honours BSc/iBSc
  • Bachelor of Science 
  • Minor   

The Biology program is also available as a bilingual or trilingual international Bachelor of Science.
