The following courses are offered as part of the Dual Degree Program in International Studies and Business Administration and are available for all students to enroll in.

Introduction to Project Management (GL/ILST 2100)

This course examines the roles of projects in private and public organizations, project management methodology, project portfolio, project life cycle, project management structures, cross-cultural, leadership and technical skills. Experiential activities (cases, projects, Microsoft Project software) are used to illustrate theoretical concepts and develop technical skills.

This course is offered in French.

Social Enterprise Design: Creating Innovative Solutions and Blended Value to Solve Global Issues (GL/ILST 4520)

This course introduces the theories/concepts of social entrepreneurship, social enterprises, social entrepreneurs, and the social entrepreneurship process. Through design thinking methods, students are introduced to the processes of opportunity recognition and blended value creation for innovative and sustainable solutions to local and global issues (i.e., poverty, health, education, climate change, food security, fair trade, etc.).

Entrepreneurial Project (GL/ILST 4320)

This course focuses on the theories, concepts, and methods associated with the entrepreneurial spirit, entrepreneurial teams, entrepreneurial opportunities, and tools for starting/operating a for-profit/non-profit business. It includes the execution of an entrepreneurial project with the resources of the GENIAL Business Incubator.
