I am a professor and I am using Moodle/eClass. How do I set the number of assignment submission attempts?

From the course page do the following:

1. Click on the Turn editing on icon
2. Click on the Edit link to the far right of the assignment and then click on Edit settings
3. Scroll down to Submission settings and expand the list.
4. Select Manually from the Attempts reopened menu.
5. Enter the amount of desired attempts.
6. Save your changes.

From within the assignment:

1. Click on the gear icon at the top right of the assignment page to open the menu.
2. Click on Edit settings.
3. Scroll down to Submission settings and expand the list.
4. Select Manually from the Attempts reopened menu.
5. Enter the amount of desired attempts.
6. Save your changes.
