Overview
The Don Rubin Dissertation Award in Canadian Theatre is granted annually to a current PhD student in Theatre, Dance & Performance Studies who is working on a dissertation specifically focused on Canadian theatre. Eligible students must maintain a minimum GPA of 7.5, be Canadian citizens, permanent residents, or protected persons, and be residents of Ontario. They must also demonstrate financial need. If a suitable candidate from the graduate program in Theatre, Dance & Performance Studies is not found, the award may be extended to PhD students from other graduate programs within the School of Arts, Media, Performance and Design, provided their dissertation also focuses on a Canadian theatre subject.
How to Apply
