Overview

The Dr. Paul-Emile Chaput and Therese Thouin Chaput and Genevieve Alexandra Williams Award will be given annually to a graduate student (MA or PhD) enrolled in the Graduate Program in Music within the School of Arts, Media, Performance and Design. The recipient must have maintained a minimum B+ average and have demonstrated leadership. Applicants must submit a one (1) page statement outlining their leadership within the York student life or their local community. The recipient must be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident or protected person, an Ontario resident* and demonstrate financial need.

Eligibility

  • Must be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident or protected person, an Ontario resident and demonstrate financial need.
  • Must be a full-time MA or Phd student in the Department of Music within the School of Arts, Media, Performance and Design
  • Must have maintained a minimum B+ average and have demonstrated leadership.

Deadline

All complete applications must be submitted online/in-person to the Graduate Program in Music Office no later than the posted deadline.
