John Page Planning Scholarship

Overview

This scholarship honours the memory of Professor John Page who taught in the Faculty of Environmental Studies from 1971 until his death in 1988. In recognition of his dedication and contribution to the broad area of planning and human settlements, this scholarship is open to students registered full time in the Master in Environmental Studies Program at York University with an area of concentration in planning and have a student membership in the Ontario Professional Planners Institute.

Value and Duration

  • One (1) or two (2) awards of $980 subject to funds available in a given year

Eligibility

  • Applicants must be full-time students in good standing in the Master in Environmental Studies Program at MES II or MES III level at York University with an area of concentration in planning and working towards becoming a member of the Ontario Professional Planners Institute (OPPI).
  • Must be in good standing and registered full-time at MES II or MES III level
  • Must be in be in the Planning program.
  • Must be working towards becoming a member of the Ontario Professional Planners Institute (OPPI)
  • The scholarship will be granted to support the student’s full-time work in their final phase of the program.

How to Apply

  • Step One: Prepare a one-page summary of your current Plan of Study with your proposal.
  • Step Two: Confirm your student membership to the Ontario Professional Planners Institute (OPPI)
  • Step Three: Complete the award application by February 15.
