This is a graduate program consisting of coursework and work placements. We plan to offer a hybrid-learning program, emphasizing program flexibility. Our program would offer face-to-face courses in addition to online learning, allowing for student flexibility and community connections.

The Master of Biotechnology Management (MBM) York University’s Markham campus feature industry-aligned curricula and extensive experiential learning opportunities that extend beyond the classroom to include the community and workplace. One strong example is the internship component. It is important to note that securing an internship within MBM involves the traditional job search, application, and interview process, and that students are not directly placed with employer partners. However, MBM offers comprehensive professional development support to equip candidates with the skills and resources needed to navigate the internship search, application, and interview. These resources include workshops, networking events, interview coaching, job search strategies, and tailored support for optimizing application materials. To improve success in securing internships, we encourage participants to actively utilize these resources and engage fully with the support offered. Our goal is to ensure that candidates are fully prepared to succeed both in securing opportunities and excelling in their roles.
