You can earn 3.0 graduate credits while participating in the interdisciplinary Management stream within the C4 classroom. It meets in-person on Keele campus, Tuesdays 2:30 to 5:30pm during Fall and Winter terms and during L2 term (May 12th to 30th) in the Summer.

C4 is a unique space where students are actively working on real-world, research-design projects with community and industry partners—all of which are linked directly to the UN SDGs.

The Management stream within the interdisciplinary C4 classroom provides a space where students can actively develop their leadership skills in how to manage complex projects in a safe and challenging environment with guidance from subject area experts.

Graduate students who took part in last year’s C4 Management stream developed the following:

Leadership in uncertainty

Practical, hands-on project management strategies

Motivation and organization for their respective teams

Project communications for impact

If you are looking to develop your leadership skills and want to specifically learn how to navigate uncertain, complex problems, then C4 is for you!

These are highly sought-after skills for a wide range of employers once you graduate—a real-world experience where your capacity to lead, guide, mentor, discern, problem-solve, and act is evident.

Students can do C4 Management for credit if their graduate program agrees. A graduate-level gateway course, EU/ENVS 6699P 3.0, has been established that students who are accepted into C4 can register in, by permission from their program. For students who are accepted into this graduate studies experiential education opportunity, instructions will be provided to you so that you may formally request to take the course from your Graduate Program Director.

C4 will begin offering spots to graduate students until all are full. After that, we will create a waitlist. Accepted students will be given permission to enroll. For this reason, we recommend students apply as soon as possible.
