  1. All incoming students will be automatically considered for this award by submitting an application to the Chemistry graduate program by the posted deadline.
  2. This Bursary ($15,500) is a matching funds award: 60% of the award funds comes from the endowment, and 40% comes from the university. In general, matching funds from the university count towards the graduate student’s fellowship, so the student’s fellowship is reduced by the amount of the university match. Thus, the actual funds on top of the student’s funding may not be $15,500. If the student accepts this award, their TA assignment will be reduced.

There are a large number of entrance and continuing awards for graduate students that can be applied to from the Faculty of Graduate Studies (FGS). These are university-wide competitions, with several that have selection criteria applicable to graduate students in Chemistry.
