Electronic Theses and Dissertations
Research within the Graduate Program in Chemistry is determined by the proposed projects presented by successful aspirants. Our students complete a thesis and/or dissertation, which then becomes published as "Electronic Theses & Dissertations" and sits as a public document within our institutional repository - YorkSpace.

Sergey Krylov
Distinguished Research Professor Sergey Krylov (Chemistry) received an NSERC Collaborative Research and Training Experience grant worth $1.65 million over six years to lead a team of researchers and industry leaders in training the next generation of technologically advanced graduates for the pharmaceutical industry.
Christine Le
A research study led by Christine Le (Chemistry), titled “Synthesis of Carbamoyl Fluorides Using a Difluorophosgene Surrogate Derived from Difluorocarbene and Pyridine N-Oxides,” was ranked one of the most-read articles in last 12 months in the Journal of Organic Chemistry.
Bibisomaia Rezaee
MSc student Bibisomaia Rezaee (Chemistry) was one of five winners in the Green Chemistry and Catalysis theme at the Commonwealth Chemistry Posters – Building Networks to Address the Goals’ virtual poster event. Her poster was entitled "A comparative study between amorphous and crystalline transition metal oxides as catalysts for the oxygen evolution reaction."
