I completed two degrees at YorkU — a BAS in Information Technology and the MAIST graduate program. I am currently Associate Director, Credit MIS within Group Risk Management at RBC Royal Bank of Canada.

I completed my MA in Information Systems & Technology at York University in 2014.

I decided to study Master’s in IT and advance my career in business analysis. York University was the only institution offering graduate degree in IT.

Senior Data Scientist,

Roni Sandel joined the MAIST program and completed a thesis about cluster design for Big Data. He also made contributions to IEEE and CASCON during his time in the MAIST program. After completing his Masters degree, he worked as a consultant at IBM in their Global Business Services division focusing on data and analytics engagements. Later in his career, he joined Scotiabank, where he helps drive cutting edge advanced analytics solutions with a focus on enhancing customer experiences.
