GREETINGS AND WELCOME!
Welcome to the Graduate Program in Financial Accountability (MFAc) at York University!
Founded in 2009, our MFAc program is the only program of its kind in the world. We are currently one of York University’s largest graduate programs.
The MFAc requirements can be completed (i) in one year; (ii) virtually, from anywhere in the world, in person, or in combination; and (iii) through traditional 12-week courses, or executive-style three-day courses, or a combination.
Our graduates hit the ground running, with employment and compensation to reflect their enhanced skill set.
Graduate students join from across the globe for this program, to be taught by world-leading faculty and practitioners.
Core MFAc courses cover topics such as accountability, compensation, ethics, governance, performance management and risk. Elective course offerings include anti-money laundering, cryptocurrency, banking, leadership, information technology governance, privacy and sustainability.
There is also an optional practicum internship where students can gain hands-on learning.
