Our Program

Master of Science students entering the Neuroscience area may apply to the Neuroscience Graduate Diploma. This interdisciplinary program provides additional specialized training on the function of the nervous system, ranging from the molecular level up to neural systems and behaviour, through coursework and a seminar series. Interested students should consult with their prospective supervisor for further information.

Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) students within the neuroscience area have the option of applying for the Neuroscience Graduate Diploma. This program provides additional specialized training on the function of the nervous system, ranging from the molecular level up to neural systems and behaviour, through selected courses and a seminar series.

Overall, the program provides York graduate students with a well-rounded education in neuroscience, creating a solid foundation on which to base their own neuroscience research. Through coursework and the Neuroscience seminar series, students meet on a regular basis with like-minded neuroscience colleagues from across the university.
