I recently graduated from York University with a B.A., Specialized Honours Psychology. My Honours thesis was a scoping review titled “Parentification and Caregiving Experiences of Typically Developing Siblings of Individuals with Intellectual Disabilities”. I also completed an Independent Research Project titled “Predictors of Positive and Negative Outcomes for Parents of Children with Autism”. Both projects were completed under the supervision of Dr. Adrienne Perry.
Broadly, my research interests continue to include understanding and enhancing the well-being of individuals with developmental disabilities and their families. I plan to go on to pursue graduate studies with an M.A. in Clinical Psychology.
Currently, I am working as a project coordinator for a fellow lab member's dissertation, where I continue to develop my research and organizational skills.
In my free time, you can usually find me on a soccer field, reading a good book or playing a board game!
