I am a PhD candidate in the Clinical Developmental Psychology program. Prior to beginning the Clinical Developmental Psychology program, I completed a Master’s of Science in Community Health, specializing in Addictions and Mental Health, at the University of Toronto.
My research interests include exploring psychological mechanisms of anxiety among autistic youth as well as evaluating the effectiveness of social skills interventions in improving anxiety symptoms in this population. I have over 6 years of experience conducting Behavioural Therapy with autistic children and adolescents. I also have a keen interest in parent coaching regarding how to best support autistic children. I have completed training in psychological assessments and therapy through the York University Psychology Clinic, The Child and Adolescent Psychology Centre, and The Mindful Living Centre.
In my spare time, I enjoy tennis, hiking, paddle boarding (basically anything outdoors!), playing with my cat and bunny (and any other animal), and painting.
