No referral is necessary to access the clinic services and the clinic is open year-round.
The first step for an interested client is to send the clinic an email (yupc@yorku.ca) to book a telephone intake appointment which usually takes between 20 – 30 minutes to complete. These appointments are scheduled during the following times:
Days | Times |
---|---|
Tuesday | 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm |
Thursday | 11:00 am to 2:00 pm |
Friday | 10:00 am to 1:00 pm |
The next step in the process is that the Clinical Manager reviews these completed intakes on a weekly or biweekly basis. We will determine if our student clinicians have the training and experience necessary to provide the requested service. If we are not able to provide service through the clinic, we will provide resources about other mental health providers in the community. If we are able to provide service, our Clinic Manager will provide an estimate of when we can get started.
