A limited number of unfurnished bachelor and 1-bedroom apartments available.
Most apartments are furnished and furnishings must not be removed from the unit.
Passy Crescent
Apartments are furnished and furnishings must not be removed from the unit. Beds or mattresses in Passy are not removed under any circumstances.
90 Atkinson Road
All apartments are unfurnished, but contain a refrigerator, stove, vertical blinds and hardwood floor.
Maximum Occupancy Allowed for Apartment Types
All apartment types are leased to one Resident only who is responsible for the terms and conditions of the lease including payment of fees. The Resident must be a York student in good standing. All other sharers/occupants must meet the occupancy criteria as described below and must be registered by the Resident in the Housing information system.
Bachelor – one student
1-Bedroom – one student or a student with spouse
2-Bedroom – a family (spouse/children) of four
2-Bedroom penthouse – family (spouse/children) of four
Adapted Apartments
Six 1-bedroom apartments in Passy Crescent and two in Assiniboine Road are modified for wheelchair accessibility.
Students are encouraged to register with Counselling and Disability Services who will conduct a needs assessment and work closely with Housing to provide the most suitable housing placement and supportive living environment. Students with special needs based on medical factors should discuss these before accepting furnished apartments, as changes will not be made after a lease has been signed.
