York University Co-op Program

Several of York University's programs have a co-op / internship option which will provides students in specific programs with an opportunity to integrate their classroom learning with hands-on, paid, work experience related to their field of study.

For 2022-2023 fiscal year, 475 students were employed across 757 work terms at an average salary rate of $24.35.

Experiential Learning Opportunities

Experiential opportunities to work within communities gives our students hands-on experience, and helps them develop their skills so that they can make a meaningful difference. Students work with high-impact organizations through a wide range of activities, including advocacy, mentorship, consultation, community-led research projects and applied problem solving.
