HIPN Initiates Newsletter
As part of our mission to promote Indigenous Studies at York University and throughout the Greater Toronto Area, the History of Indigenous Peoples Network will begin this term sending out a periodic newsletter highlighting talks, seminars, symposiums, fellowship and job opportunities, and other announcements of interest to our community.
There are so many exciting things going on here at York involving Indigenous Studies, it’s time we gather them together. The newsletter, we hope, will be a vibrant and convenient location to advertise all kinds of activities. Here’s where we need your help: please send any information or material you would like to see in the newsletter either to Boyd Cothran (cothran@yorku.ca) or to the HIP Network’s official email address (hipnyork@gmail.com).

The objective is to develop comparative perspectives on “welfare models”, and the ways in which they are changing, drawing on the great diversity of approaches to welfare across Europe and Canada.
