Rhonda Lenton: from sociology professor to university president

 

Dr. Rhonda Lenton has been appointed York University’s eighth President and Vice-Chancellor.

She joined York in 2002 and, since 2012, has served as the university’s Vice-President Academic. As a respected sociologist, she has taught and published broadly in the areas of gender, health, sexual violence and higher education. Professor Lenton commences her duties as President on July 1, 2017. Read more in YFile
