Course directors invited to submit exceptional student work for LA&PS Writing Prize

Course directors invited to submit exceptional student work for LA&PS Writing Prize

The Faculty of Liberal Arts and Professional Studies (LA&PS) continues to accept entries for the Fall/Winter 2017 LA&PS Writing Prize until Sept. 15.

Any course director may enter a paper (one per course) into the competition, which encourages submissions of all kinds (except creative writing). Prizes are given for the best work at each year level, first to fourth.

Normally, the entries are carefully read by the assessors over the summer term and winners announced in September. However, for this iteration of the competition, the submissions for the Fall/Winter 2017 competition will be evaluated in the Spring/Summer of 2019, alongside the Fall/Winter 2018 competition entries.

More information about the competition can be found on the LA&PS Writing Prize website, which includes the entry form and submission link. Please contact Jon Sufrin at jons@yorku.ca for further information.
