Experience York

Experience York is the online system used to manage the full range of experiential education opportunities available to students across LA&PS. Students can use the system to apply for co-op positions, register for programs and activities that support their personal, academic and professional development, and reflect upon and track their skill development.

Applying to the LA&PS Co-op Program

The LA&PS Co-op Program offers paid, short-term employment that takes place in between academic terms over 4, 8, 12 or 16 months (the co-op structure must have two work terms with an academic period in between).

To begin the process of applying to the Co-op Program, students must first complete the eClass module, or attend a virtual Information Session via Zoom through the Experience York portal.

Enrolling in Placement Courses

Placements are unpaid, part-time, work-focused experiences that take place as part of a course for academic credit.

To gain access to the placement courses interface, ensure you are enrolled in the correct course via York’s Registration and Enrolment Module as each course has its own unique Experience York registration procedure.
