There are so many inspirational women in LA&PS, but for me, Crystal Grant is one who I admire because of her dedication to student success, perseverance in trying times, and willingness to help anyone at any time. The relationships that she has built within each of her departments that she manages has been an integral part to the efficiency and success of every advising initiative. She can mend relationships so gracefully and no matter what the situation, is able to find innovative solutions to a problem with ease. Her special attention towards caring and supporting others is a quality that I truly admire. Crystal inspires me to be a better educator and leader. She has shown me how to deal with difficult situations, push forward and keep my head held high. The light that Crystal shines will always guide me to being a better woman.
