I hope my research will shed light on the nuanced discourse surrounding secularism, law and multiculturalism in Canada today. I believe the highly controversial and divisive nature of Bill-21 can benefit from a more comprehensive understanding of the social and political context in which it was born to promote meaningful analysis and critique of modern secularism laws.
