- Students must ensure that they meet all the program eligibility requirements as well as the course pre-requisites for the course(s) they are interested in applying to.
- Take note of the study abroad application deadline—late applications will not be accepted.
- Students are responsible for making sure that their passports are valid for at least 3-6 months after their intended return date, depending on their program country. Apply for a passport renewal now if passport is currently expired.
- Non-Canadian passport holders may need a tourist Visa to enter the destination country. While LA&PS can assist with Visa applications by providing letters of support, it is the student’s responsibility to consult with the local embassy or consulate of their destination country and apply for a Visa. Consult Travel and tourism Canada for the most up-to-date information on entry, health, and safety guidelines for the destination country.
