The Faculty of Liberal Arts & Professional Studies would like to announce the Work Integrated Learning (WIL) Access Support Fund. This bursary was made possible with support from Co-operative Education and Work-Integrated Learning Canada (CEWIL).
This fund aims to reduce financial barriers for students who are enrolled in a course-based placement course in the Fall term.

Eligibility
This bursary is open to students who are:
- A registered student in a PSE (post-secondary education) institution in Canada (full-time or part-time)
- A Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person to whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act
- Legally entitled to work in Canada in accordance with the relevant provincial or territorial legislation and regulations, and
- Students who are enrolled in an undergraduate placement course completing a 1:1 placement.
CEWIL eligibility requirements
Students completing placements with the following partners are not eligible for the LA&PS WIL Access Support Fund:
- Post-secondary institutions are not eligible with the exception of entrepreneurial WIL only;
- Federal, Provincial, Territorial and Municipal Government;
- Members of the House of Commons and the Senate;
- Organizations that engage in partisan political activities;
- Financial sector employers with 500 or more employees (includes all branches); and
- Organizations for which you are paying for a service (i.e., software or training)
The information you provide on this application will be collected for the purposes of confirming your participation in the CEWIL iHub innovative work-integrated learning funding program. The information you provide will be shared with CEWIL Canada and the Government of Canada. It may be used and/or disclosed for policy analysis, research and/or program evaluation purposes. Completion of this application is mandatory to be considered for funding. Refusal to provide information will unfortunately result in you not being eligible to receive iHub funding.
Please note that funding is pending confirmation of eligibility for both the student applicant as well as the placement organization.
