She leads enterprise strategy development and the evaluation of opportunities on emerging trends to determine and futureproof the role of Interac within the Canadian innovation ecosystem. Her focus today is on future-looking initiatives, specifically digital commerce, consumer-directed finance (also known as “open banking”), secure data sharing & exchange, blockchain, connected cities, and social commerce. She has twenty years of experience across product management leading go-to-market strategies, strategy, and delivery within the payments, financial services, and travel industries. Her career concentration has been on the digital economy where she has worked with some of the largest organizations domestically and internationally. Kashmera ties all of this together through her passion on innovating for social good and is a transformative thought leader, both within Canada and abroad, that drives impactful change.
