Sharlene Kanhai is the Senior Vice President of Global Talent, Culture, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion for Great-West Lifeco, an international financial services holding company with interests in life insurance, health insurance, retirement and investment services, asset management and reinsurance businesses.
Sharlene brings over 20 years of experience in the areas of Talent Management and Organizational Development to drive business transformation and culture change. Prior to joining Great-West Lifecoin 2015, Sharlene, held numerous progressive roles in a variety of iconic Canadian businesses, from not for profit to media to financial services, playing key roles in transforming the businesses in the areas of change management, leadership development, employee engagement, talent acquisition and succession planning.
Holding a specialized honours psychology degree from York University, Sharlene served on the board for Nightwood Theatre group from 2017-2020 and was an advisory board member to the Institute of Management studies from 2006 to 2016.
