Linguistics

The Linguistics program is amazing in many ways, but what I like most are the professors, the small class sizes and the subjects I study. The small class size allows for comfortable relationships with our professors, who all have engaging and informative teaching styles, and our topics of study are relevant and interesting. Advice I'd give to help new students succeed is, of course, to not procrastinate and to plan out your work. Your best work will only be produced with thorough, critical thinking, and that requires time. Next, familiarize yourself with the services available around York. They may come in handy when you need them. Lastly but most importantly, don't forget to take care of yourself and your health.
