Professional Writing
What I like best about Professional Writing is that I am able to explore various forms and aspects of writing. We write everything from business reports to short stories, giving us a clear vision of what we could accomplish as writers. Asides from physically putting pen to paper, we also learn about the exciting yet unseen steps that go into the writing process and beyond, such as editing, rewriting, publishing, and critical thinking.
Education in writing is important because it teaches its students how to communicate effectively in such a way that information is conveyed with as few misunderstandings as possible. We process much of our surroundings through words. Even in this technological age, perhaps even because of it, knowing how to write clearly will help us and those around us see the important details in our lives that are lost to vague writing.
