Richard Baugh is currently a Founder in Residence in a startup accelerator program of the global venture capital firm, Antler where he is working on developing an AI powered PropTech startup. Having worked in real estate private equity, development finance and as a consultant in PwC’s Real Estate Advisory practice, Richard plans to leverage his experience to disrupt the real estate development industry through innovation, technology and tenacity.
He enjoys giving back, by helping students and people in the early stages of their careers, to maximize their potential through practical, grounded and actionable advice and game plans.
York was the place that gave me the foundational understanding of housing, social justice and the social systems that craft society. It was crucial in the enhancement of my critical thinking skills and was the place that really allowed me to understand how society and cities developed the way that they did, how policy is crafted and how I can have an impact on city building and contributing to the shaping of society.
