My favourite part of the program was learning about the theoretical concepts of emergency management through the use of everyday current events. While many may not consider the homelessness sector as falling under the emergency management sector, I believe there are important intersections between the two. In my current position within the homelessness field, I often see the relevance and impacts of emergency management. It has definitely been beneficial having this emergency management perspective."
