"Midway through my career, I was accepted into the MDEM program at York, which is where my career took a turn towards emergency management. As part of the MDEM program, I completed an internship in municipal public service, working the City of Brantford as an Emergency Management Specialist. In my final year of the MDEM program, I obtained a position in the major events management industry, working on the Pan Am Games as a Manager of Security Integration."
