Children, Childhood & Youth, Bachelor of Arts (BA) - Honours 2021
As a student who moved onto to post-graduate studies, I can truly say that the enriching, educative and resourceful frameworks that were apart of the Children, Childhood and Youth program positively impacted my learning outcomes. Being in the field since the age of fourteen had been such a memorable experience aside from enrolling the program of my dreams. As of now, I'm currently completing my post-graduate certificate in Children's Mental Health at Fleming College which has been impactful because of the foundational knowledge I had learned in the CCY program. Shortly after, I plan on obtaining my Child and Youth Work diploma and Master's from Ryerson in Child and Youth Work + Early Childhood Studies. Hence, nothing would have been possible without the amazing work and professors from the CCY program at York University!
York impacted my life and career because it provided me with the fundamental constituents which are pivotal to my current program at Fleming College as a Children's Mental Health student. From the academic research, pedagogies and numerous other subject matters that were relevant during the CCY program and courses I had taken, it was definitely a very knowledgeable experience as a student.
